Cortland Kelly Grynwald has been a legal recruiter for five years and joined Pye Legal Group’s Dallas office in the spring of 2009. She specializes in attorney placement within the corporate in-house market and some small- to mid-sized firms in Dallas and throughout Texas. She also works on searches for contract attorneys, paralegals and legal assistants. Cortland holds a B.F.A. in Theatre (summa cum laude) from Virginia Commonwealth University and her J.D. from the University of Virginia. Upon graduation from law school, she worked for the firm of Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed, P.A. in Orlando, Florida, practicing in various areas including land use, commercial real estateleasing, commercial and real estate litigation, bankruptcy, creditors' rights, and commercial loan workouts. Cortland then moved to Dallas, Texas and practiced with Carrington, Coleman, Sloman, and Blumenthal, L.L.P., with a focus on bankruptcy and commercial litigation. Cortland is an active member and committee co-chair of Attorneys Serving the Community.
