Laura Peterson Elkind  has 15 years of experience as a trial attorney in Dallas. An honors graduate from Wellesley College and the University of Texas School of Law, she was a shareholder at two major Dallas firms, Thompson & Knight and Locke Purnell (now Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell). Her experience includes a wide range of commercial litigation as well as media representation. She is a longtime board member of the Freedom of Information Foundation of Texas, a volunteer and substitute teacher at Fort Worth Country Day School, and a Little League dugout mom.
