Catherine Wilde is an accomplished legal recruiter with more than 25 years of attorney placement experience. She began her legal career in the Finance section of Baker Botts LLP, after working as a Geologist with Sabine Corporation focusing on Gulf Coast exploration and production. She subsequently gained first hand in-house experience at GE Capital and eventually transitioned to a career in attorney placement. Cathy received her Geology degree from the University of Texas after transferring from Wellesley College and her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center, where she served as Editor of the Houston Law Review.

Cathy has worked with many of Texas’s most recognizable law firms and corporations, assisting with both permanent and contract placements. Her background in the energy business continues to be an asset for Pye’s energy-focused clients.

Cathy lives in Camp Logan adjacent to Memorial Park and served as a member of the Board of the Memorial Park Conservancy for the past six years. She especially enjoys running, biking and hiking in the park and elsewhere with her husband and former St. John’s School classmate, David, and her two children, son-in-law and granddaughter.
